Testing the infamous Steam FFXV on RTX 4080 12GB, and the stutters still persist, if not just a little bit better compare to my previous testing with RTX 3070 Ti 8GB and RTX 3060 6GB. The test is done on QHD scaling (1080p x 150%)

The tests are as follow:

1. Intro movies cutscenes into the initial gameplay - car pushing

During the transition you can see that the VRAM usage quickly rise up from around 4-5GB to 11GB. It seems that this steam version is really VRAM hungry and would like to eat your VRAM as much as possible.

2. Cletoblepas Gameplay

The size of this creature is considerably huge and located at an open field rich with greenery, this area is very suitable to be tested as it requires a lot of resources. Alas, despite the reduction in stutterings, the stutter still exist.

Conclusion? Lets hope for a remake FFXV (or 1.3 update?) to make the stutters eliminated 🤣

2. Windows Exploit Override enabled
3. TRAM set to Average
(These 3 are known to help to REDUCE the stutters, but not to eliminate them completely)
