RTX 4090 can't help when CPU limited.
679The Callisto Protocol PC version launched with tons of stutters. There have been two patches since then (this is tested on the 12/15 patch), adding some performance and stability improvements as well as shader compilation to reduce the stutters. Here we look at how the RTX 4090 performs in this game on a Ryzen 7 7700X CPU with 32 GB DDR5 6000 CL36 RAM. Unfortunately the RT mode is still very CPU limited. Most of the major stutters are gone, but there are still some minor stutters. I would say it is now very playable, but has room for improvement. People on older CPUs will likely need to turn RT off even if they have a good GPU.
