RX 6800 XT vs Witcher 3 Next Gen Ray Tracing Update
AMD GPUs seem to be having unusual trouble with the ray tracing in The Witcher 3 Next Gen Update. While they are never great at RT, the stutters are far worse than what we would expect from the framerate we are getting. I explore various RT settings where we can at least achieve a stable (if low) framerate at different resolutions. Fortunately the update also added FSR2. Full system specs below:
