Run Android Studio (plus Android emulator) on a bare metal AWS EC2 instance

The title really has it covered: I needed a way to run Android Studio on a remote machine, but I also needed the Android emulator to work, meaning I had to be using an environment that supported hardware accelerated virtualization. Amazon's "metal" types (in this case c5.metal) let me do just that.
