   01. Log into the ProxMox web UI
   02. Select a storage from the left navigation pane to download the .iso to
   03. Select ISO Images in the left sub-navigation pane
   04. Download the Debian 11 iso  https://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/current/amd64/iso-cd/ and upload it to the ProxMox ISO image library
   05. Right click the ProxMox node name ≫ Create VM
   06. Give the VM a unique ID and Name ≫ Next
   07. On the OS tab, Select the Debian 11 installation .iso file, leave the Type as Linux and the Version as 5.x - 2.6 Kernel ≫ Next
   08. Leave the defaults on the System tab ≫ Next
   09. On the Hard Disk tab, set the Disk size to 16 GiB or more ≫ Next
   10. On the CPU tab, set Cores to 2 or more and Type to host ≫ Next
   11. On the Memory tab, set the Memory to 4096 ≫ Next
   12. Leave the defaults on the Network tab ≫ Next
   13. Verify the summary and click Finish
   14. Right click the Debian11 VM in the left navigation pane ≫ Start
   15. Click console in the left sub-navigation menu
   16. When the install dialog displays press Enter to select Graphical Install
   17. Select a language ≫ Click Continue
   18. Select a Location ≫ Click Continue
   19. Select a keyboard layout ≫ Click Continue
   20. Enter a hostname for the VM ≫ Click Continue
   21. Enter a Domain name or leave it empty ≫ Click Continue
   22. Enter and confirm a root password ≫ Click Continue
   23. Enter the full name for the new user ≫ Click Continue
   24. Enter the username for the new user ≫ Click Continue
   25. Enter and confirm a password for the new user ≫ Click Continue
   26. Select a timezone ≫ Click Continue
   27. Select Guided - use entire disk ≫ Click Continue
   28. Select the QEMU HARDDISK ≫ Click Continue
   29. Select All files in one partition ≫ Click Continue
   30. Select Finish partitioning and write changes to disk ≫ Click Continue
   31. Select Yes to confirm writing the changes ≫ Click Continue
   32. Wait for Debian to copy and install files
   33. When prompted, select Yes to enable a network apt mirror ≫ Click Continue
   34. Select a country to use for the apt mirror ≫ Click Continue
   35. Select a mirror from the list ≫ Click Continue
   36. Setup a HTTP proxy if necessary ≫ Click Continue
   37. Select No to participating in package survey ≫ Click Continue
   38. Select the software to install ≫ Click Continue
   39. Select Yes to install GRUB ≫ Click Continue
   40. Select /dev/sda for the boot loader location ≫ Click Continue
   41. After the bootloader is installed select reboot to finish the installation
   42. Welcome to Debian 11

   01. Launch a terminal window
   02. Run the following commands
         # update software repositories
         sudo apt update
         # install qemu guest agent
         sudo apt install qemu-guest-agent -y
         # enable and start the qemu-guest-agent service
         sudo systemctl enable qemu-guest-agent --now
