Left 4 Dead 2 is a first-person co-op action horror game from Valve. Four players take the role of survivors in a zombie apocalypse who must fight their way through ravenous hordes to find safety. The campaign has four "movies", each of which has five stages to challenge players' skills and teamwork. A sequel, Left 4 Dead 2, was released in 2009.
Crash Course is the first DLC campaign for Left 4 Dead and serves as a bridge between No Mercy and Death Toll. As such, it is the shortest campaign of the game with only 2 parts. In it, the team survives the helicopter crash post No Mercy and must now find a different way to get to the town of Riverside in Death Toll.
