27,353Not every video game has a running mechanic but when they do, it's always different. Assassin's Creed is pretty normal until you accidently run up a wall. Every gamer who's played Assassin's Creed has had this happen at least a hundred times. Fortnite recently added a sprint option on top of running but a lot of gamers will still use the tried and true jump over and over again. Apex Legends should also be called slide city. Doesn't matter which season of Apex it is, those slides will take you miles. Dead by Daylight is different depending on who you're playing. If you're a survivor you run is more like a light jog and you're going to be relying on knocking those boards over. If you're the killer though, you're not going faster than a walk and for some reason a single sheet of plywood is enough to stop you in your tracks. That's just Dead By Daylight for you!
