Part of Just Trains' big fictional route (set in Scotland) is a third-rail electric line with two underground stations. That's what we'll be exploring in this video, with our train being a Class 456 electric multiple unit. Today we're going from Portkeane to Marsdon Central, covering a distance of 23.85 miles and stopping at the following stations:

Ballacraig
Marsdon Promenade
Marsdon Central

The Class 456 is one of many variants of the BREL Mk3-derived family. 25 of these 2-car units were built in the early 1990s. Most recently they were in service with South Western Railway, but despite the Class 701 Aventras still not being in service, SWR got rid of them in early 2022 and now they're all scrapped.
