So in the recent Devlog the caves where made great again, i used to always build in caves so to me this was a great thing. you can now build rite up to the doors of caves which makes caves Overpowered to hell!

i choose to use the small caves as these are more practical to build in and easier to defend and get to due to there being no spike traps.

i would say this could be a solo base, a duo base or a small group base due to its progressive nature

i used a simple and cheap wall stacking method to double door the inside of the cave as resources are limited in rust just now and harder to get when in a cave.

the whole build cost me under 30k stone which is fine as its a build up base.

caves mean no worries of twig raiding or ladder raiding and make it harder for offline raiders to get to your loot and even harder for online raids.

i will work on a few more caves but i wont be doing many. make sure you alter my concept and make it your own as this needs to be your build not a straight copy.

remember to count foundations not walls when working out rockets to the loot as this is the cheapest way for experienced raiders.
