The developers have announced the release of a new game mode for Rust - HARDCORE. In this mode, the usual gameplay features are severely curtailed, which makes survival on this type of server really difficult.

Here are the main differences between this mode and classic servers in RUST:
- Rust+ not available
- Disabled console command (combatlog)
- Disabled command system
- Disabled map
- Disabled ALL safe zones
- Disabled drones
- Disabled compass
- Disabled contact system
- Disabled MLRS
- Removed all missions
- Removed the ability to move in a knocked state
- Removed turrets and scientists in save zones
- Removed hostility icon when entering cities
- Only local chat works (players at a distance of 100m)
- The maximum number of sleeping bags is 5 pieces at a distance of at least 250m from each other.
- Wipe cards once a month

So far, this is the entire known list of restrictions on HARDCORE servers, most likely they will still have time to add it. The mode will be released on September 1st, on the first day of school (how ironic 🙄)
