Rusty Plays - Dead Alliance Multiplayer Beta
0Why the heck did I try this Beta? I should have turned away after seeing the clips and reviews :X
To be totally honest, even with it's own problems, the Warface Beta was better than this, and that was on the 360...!
After watching stuff through I realised I had missed a few things that the onscreen prompts showed, like D-Pad Down being for the match scoreboard.
- Pros -
- graphics and music being reasonably good;
- An interesting mechanic to "weaponise" zombies.
- Cons -
- I had to work out what to do, very little information was given;
- No in-match options menu, everything has to be messed with on the Main Menu! ;
- Taking it being a beta into account, but matches were jittery at times and the game was a little unstable. Crashed to Dashboard a few times;
- Spawning was off, depending on the maps you could spawn in direct Line-of-Sight of an enemy player;
- Spawn camping was a problem;
- Sniper rifle and crossbow now worth using, very twitchy when aiming and the lag meant some shots hit thin air;
- Zombies popping into existence out of thin air, no much effort put into where they spawn (climbing from between crates was good but again, they just boop into existence);
