For the first verse, I puzzled a while on what I wanted to do with it. After procrastinating and sitting on it for a while, it came to use a Kingdom Hearts-y arpeggio with low winds, and gradually build it up with bass and guitar. Once I had that idea down, I also moved the timings from Jeff/4 to on-beat, as it sounded jank otherwise.
The second verse onwards didn't say as many changes, with only moderate changes being made to the guitar and drum patterns and introducing some additional orchestral elements here and there.
Time spent working on the track: 36 hours. (It felt a lot less long)
