How does AMD's strongest Godavari APU fair against the entry level RX 550 at the scene of one of the most largest and bloodiest operations of World War I? To find out we did a loop around the Argonne Forest level, an infantry focused, close quarters map of Battlefield 1.

Once again, the A10 APU is no match for the RX 550, the dGPU is able to produce twice as many frames. Interestingly, the DX12 renderer can't really help either configuration. After all the work that DICE did with Mantle, one would have expected nice gains from the next generation API under Frostbite.

A dedicated recording PC with a capture card was used to save the game footages and consequently no performance penalty was incurred on the reviewed systems. For convenience, games are installed on an external SSD and connected to the reviewed PC.
