RX 580 vs RX 480 Frame Time Analysis - Unigine Superposition v1.0 DX11 [BENCHMARK]
How does the new RX 580 fare against the RX 480 in UNIGENE's latest GPU benchmark tool? Compute oriented tasks usually scale well with increased clock speeds and as Superposition utilizes advanced ray tracing technique we were curious about the performance of the supercharged Polaris 10 GPU.
The RX 580 was able to grind out ~5% better score than the RX 480, so Sapphire's mightiest Polaris 10 implementation halved the gap to MSI's GTX 1060 GAMING X 6G. Will be revisiting the topic as developers add Vulkan and mGPU support to Superposition.
