Ryan Reynolds Teaming with Michael Bay, Netflix, and Deadpool Writers for New Movie
405Netflix issued a press release announcing that Michael Bay and Ryan Reynolds are teaming up with Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick to make a film for Netflix. The film is said to be the biggest undertaking by the streaming service since its David Ayer directed film ‘Bright’ that starred Will Smith, Joel Edgerton and Noomi Rapace. The plot, according to THR, focuses on six billionaires who fake their own deaths and form an elite team to take down bad guys. I’m not sure what more you need for a Michael Bay film to be a success on the heels of the lukewarm reaction to Transformers: The Last Knight, but this seems to be the right formula for success.
