S T A L K E R: Call of Pripyat - ( 2022 ) Video #83: Night Moves in Zaton
This video continues around midnight, where the last video left off. It has me going around to various places at night meeting NPCs and mutants, not remarkable. However, in review of it before loading to YouTube, I noticed at the very end I decided to tell Beard he was working for Sultan now, the last part of "Shady Business" that I had mentioned several videos ago that I would never do. I thought I had realized the error of doing that earlier but maybe I was wrong, and this is where it happened. Either way you can see all the Loners go from friendly "green" to neutral "yellow" and then the video ends. I anticipate discovering this soon with a redo video.
I went ahead and reviewed the next 3 videos, totaling almost 106 minutes. Game time is 24 hours = 2 hours and 24 minutes of real time ( 144 minutes ) which means I went for nearly an entire day before I discovered my error and that all the Loners were yellow. If you're not expecting a change, it is easy to overlook that color change if you are busy doing other things. What happened in the other videos? I talked to Nimble about what Snag had said about the stolen weapon, Snag flees the Skadovsk and I am tasked with meeting some Bandits at the Zaton docks. My dialogue choices ( not doing payoffs or bribes ) results in them turning hostile with me and in keeping to my desire to not kill any Loners, Bandits, Duty or Freedom, I run from the scene like I did with Tuna. The rest of the 3 videos has been me using various means to get others to deal with them or me getting them to chase me and redirect their movements to more dangerous surroundings.
While I could post these, I decided not too since I had to redo all the scenes related to the "Reputation" scenario with Snag and the Bandits at the Zaton Docks. The next video has me going back to the nearest Manual Save that I could before I made the wrong decision to complete the "Shady Business" and work for Sultan in shaking down Beard. My apologies to thinking this scenario had happened earlier when dealing with the Compass Artifact.
