In the prologue we are in a prison cell and our cellmate asks us to make a bet with a simple roll of a dice; whoever rolls the higher number gets to escape while the person who rolled a lower number will become bait.
The Fifth Roll has us play as a second-year highschooler called Metarou, an ordinary person who has recently met a girl plagued by misfortune. He sees her every morning tending to the flower beds by the school. What could be causing this girl to be so unlucky?
