On most / all of the island in the Autumn Isles a frog in a submarine barrel will surface at the start of the map. He will ask a question to which you must reply correctly. (I believe this is simulating the old recognition codes the CIA & MI6 use to use for agents to identify themselves in the field to other agents)

After this you must go destroy a few specific pirate ships on another island and report back to him. On completion he will give you a random Ancient Item.
