Our starting planet doesn't have titanium veins. So we need to search for it on other planets. How are we going to do it? After equipped Icarus with Drive Engine 2, we can sail between planets in our solar system. Also, It's a good practice to have Universe Exploration Lv.2 researched too. It will help us to identify which planet has titanium vein on it.
We can mine titanium like any other ground resource. Do not forget to bring mining drills, belts, smelters, and any other items in order to establish a basic mining production. And a lot of storage.
Since we do not have an Interstellar Logistic Station yet (required yellow matrix which also required titanium), we have to hand-carry the titanium to our home planet for further manufacturing.
