06.5/10 run. Hydra is a powerful weapon that is very good at dealing with enemies (pretty much all bosses except maw or fly fish) and mobs but requires support for set up and mobility. As a backliner though its far too risky for active egg retrieval. Issue is players might not be able to read the fact that you're clearing a path and end up with unwanted losses or suppression which has a knock on effect of getting overwhelmed.
Support your hydras. But don't be a dumb hydra either.
