been working on this on and off since december 2022
it's the entirety of disc 1
the hard part that took so long was
every random battle is cut out the same way as the XS1 video
it bypasses infamous claims while retaining the vocal audio track
since the song in the second scene has a vocal track it had to be edited around while others such as the first scene were mostly stripped out
for comparison just this 3:47 excerpt took 1:56:22 to render out at 276 mbs
wouldn't be the first time i spent 300 hours rendering a video out though
also this is Xenosaga Episode II running on a base Playstation 4
in other news
i have work in progress sound rips of Tekken 5's first arcade update and Tekken Revolution with Tag 2 possible but these are already time consuming and overly complex
TKR is internal order and file names
while TK5 is just internal order
i might be able to do a rip of 5DR's additions with a HxD ram dump from an emulator called play in a few circumstances
such as selected intro outro battle
but i lack the hardware to do it myself and the files are normally encrypted so i believe that to be the only way
i probably could get them from the psp version but i would prefer the original audio source without compromise if possible first
i don't know a way around the PS3 versions file encryption
i think the 300 series arcade version of it might not have file encryption though
