Hey all how are you?
And thanks for watching, I find the story of Samson and Delilah fascinating, as Samson had a weakness towards women.
Delilah didn't really care for Samson, she wouldn't have made a good friend for him, let alone a romantic partner, she was more interested in her own life and ambitions than in him.
What stands out to me here, is how Samson despite his great physical strength, followed his feelings when he shouldn't have done.
Yet God loved him, he knew his flaws, certainly his judgement when it came to women was off, that's not to say he was stupid however...
Many people to this day, follow our feelings instead of using our heads, and as a result can end up with unrealistic expectations of people.
This doesn't just apply to romantic relationships, but to friendships too.

We need to look to the character of other people, and not see them through rose tinted glasses, big mistake.
Often times, other people don't love us or care about us when we 'think' they do, or at least would like them too.
Our feelings are often deceptive, let's all pray for wisdom, as it's all too easy to get carried away by our emotions.
Especially when we feel let down in life, or abandoned, let's not fall into cynicism or self pity either, but rather rely on God's strength, Amen.
It's not just human relationships of all kinds, where we lack good judgment either, as it extends to many things, I have seen people throw tantrums over not getting the car they wanted.... 👀🌍.

*Use your head, that person or situation may not be what you think it is, our feelings can get us into trouble, Amen.*
