The Odyssey G8 34-inch gaming monitor from Samsung is the company's first OLED model and is 'partnered with Quantum Dot Technology' which rather indicates that it will be a QD-OLED monitor in a similar vein to Alienware's recent AW3423DW model. The G8 features an ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio and 1800R curved screen with a 175Hz refresh rate plus a 0.1ms response time.

Sounds decent enough but why the obfuscation in the marketing? Come on Samsung, don't be coy, if it's a QD-OLED display, just come out and say so.
