Samsung Galaxy A17: How To Connect USB Flash Drive
Learn how to connect a USB flash drive to your Samsung Galaxy A17.
With the help of a simple OTG (On-The-Go) adapter, you can quickly access and transfer photos, videos, documents, and more between your devices.
How To Connect USB Flash Disk On Samsung Galaxy A17:
Step 1: Connect your USB flash drive to a USB OTG adapter. Since the Galaxy A17 uses a USB-C port, most flash drives (which are USB-A) will need the adapter. If you already have a USB-C flash drive, you can plug it in directly.
Step 2: Plug the OTG adapter into your Galaxy A17’s USB-C charging port. Once connected, you should see a USB icon in the status bar and a "USB Storage Added" notification in the notification panel.
Step 3: Open the My Files app on your Galaxy A17. You can find it on the home screen, inside the Samsung folder, or by swiping up and using the search bar.
Step 4: In the My Files app, scroll to the Storage section and locate your connected flash drive. Tap on it to view its contents. From here, you can copy, move, or manage files between your phone and the USB drive.
Step 5: Once you’re finished, safely eject the flash drive. Swipe down to open the notification panel, tap on the “USB Storage Added” message, and select Unmount.
Step 6: Finally, unplug the adapter or the flash drive from your Galaxy A17.
