Priced at Rs. 27,990, the C7 pro promises to deliver high performance, beautiful viewing experience & sleek looking metallic smartphone at hand.
The device features a 2.2 GHz Octa Core processor supported by 4 GB RAM and powered by a 3,300 mAh battery. The C7 pro, like any other new smartphone from Samsung, is a dual SIM device with microSD card slot allowing you to expand storage by 256 GB.
Galaxy C7 pro display is a beautiful 5.7 inch Super AMOLED Full HD display with a PPI of 386, the C7 Pro is geared to offer you a solid viewing experience. With the speakers placed right above the power/lock on the right edge, the positioning is just perfect for when you are holding it horizontally watching a video.
The device features nice smooth rounded edges. The metal really adds to the overall styling and curves. At the center, you have the home button which is also a fingerprint sensor that you can use to quickly unlock the device securely.
Samsung has started shipping its devices now with Type C port, as it is going to be the next universal standard for charging and data transfer ports. Through this port you’d be charging a 3,300 mAh battery which I believe is just about what you need for this device. A bit of more juice would have definitely helped – however, in that case the device would have been either thicker and heavier.
Talking about weight and thickness, the device weighs a 172 gms but despite the size, it is really thin. Just 7 mm thick – the device is a pleasure to hold and ergonomically very very pleasant.
What’s unique about the device is the 2.5 D glass on top that really bumps up the style quotient of the device. It really gives it a very pro look and I really like that about some devices that do feature this 2.5D glass effect.
On the software front, the C7 pro comes loaded with Android 6.0.1 marshmallow & features Samsung’s latest user interface, the Grace UI. When locked, the C7 pro comes up with the always-on display that is customizable to some extent and also shows what unread notifications you have from which app.
Samsung has been trying to maintain their leadership by bringing in smartphones for various categories of users. C7 pro is probably the device for you if you’re looking for a good looking smartphone with high performance, decent camera – all within Rs. 28,000. Other devices that you can look for in the same category are OnePlus 3T, the Galaxy A5 2017 and Moto X force or the Moto X style.
