The Galaxy M30s from Samsung is a very well made device that has been priced quite sensibly, but can it take on the Redmi Note 8 Pro in a battle for the best phone under 15k? Let’s find out in today’s video!
The Samsung Galaxy M30s comes with a smaller Full HD+ AMOLED panel while the Redmi Note 8 Pro has the bigger 6.53 inch IPS LCD display. Both have a dewdrop notch up top.
Internally the Samsung Galaxy M30s runs on the Exynos 9611 processor along with 4/6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal storage respectively. On the other hand we have the much more powerful Helio G90T from Mediatek inside the Note 8 Pro and it comes in 3 storage and RAM variants - 4/64, 6/64 and finally 6/128 GB
The Galaxy M30s has an absolutely massive 6000mAh battery while the Note 8 Pro gets a more moderately sized 4,5000mAh battery. Both the phones support fast charging and both of them have a dedicated micro sd card slot.
To the back the Note 8 Pro sports a quad camera setup which consist of the 64MP primary camera along with an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the M30s, we have 3 cameras - a primary 48MP, an 8MP ultrawide and finally a 5MP depth sensor.
When it comes to software we have One UI 1.5 on the Samsung Galaxy M30s and MIUI 10 on the Redmi Note 8 Pro, both running on top of Android 9 Pie.
