Rumours about the upcoming Samsung Note 5 and Project Zero 2 have been making the rounds for a while. Now a new report has surfaced which states that the Galaxy Note 5 dubbed as Project Noble will come with S Pen functionality. However the dual-edge display handset called Project Zero 2 (SM-G928), will not come with the S Pen.

According to sources, the Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920) will come with an Exynos 7422 SoC. Similar to its predecessors, the Note 5 will come with S Pen functionality. The device will come with either a 2K or a 4K Super AMOLED display; however the company has yet to determine the final display resolution.

Samsung has renamed its dual-edged display from Project Zen to Project Zero 2 (SM-G928) and the handset will not feature S Pen functionality. The device's model number is similar to the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge so the rumoured handset could be a successor to the Galaxy S6 Edge. Other leaked specifications of the device include a 5.4-inch or 5.5-inch dual-curved Super AMOLED display. It is also expected to have a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 SoC and 32 GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone will have a 16 MP rear camera with OIS, and a 5 MP front-facing camera.

Both Project Noble and Project Zero 2 will come with regular accessories like the Clear View cover as well as a Keyboard cover. Samsung’s president Shin Jong-kyun has already confirmed that the devices will be revealed at IFA 2015 in September. Apart from the two new mobile devices, Samsung is also expected to launch the Gear A smartwatch at the event.
