Samsung Galaxy Note 5 - Why It Sucks (4K)
794Sometimes we wanna know about all the bad things of a smartphone before we purchase it. So what do you think is bad in the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, the latest large screen smartphone released by Samsung? Let’s find out!
The first bad thing about the device is its glass back! And Samsung was not the first smartphone company to introduce this feature to their phones. Apple introduced devices containing a glass back but the feature had to be removed later. Sony also introduced glass backed devices for their Xperia smartphones. The main reason for the glass back being a bad feature is that it makes the smartphone slippery and also prone to breaking.
The non-removable back is the second bad thing about the Note 5. Sometimes when the phone gets stuck we used to remove the battery to turn it off. But now since it’s not possible to remove the back, button combinations have to be used for the purpose. Taking a spare battery when you travel also won’t be of any use since the battery can’t be replaced.
Lack of water resistance is the third bad thing about the Galaxy Note 5. Although some Samsung devices like the Galaxy S5 Mini came out with water resistance, most high-end Samsung devices do not contain water resistance. And this is a huge disadvantage for Samsung users.
The fourth bad thing about the Note 5 that was recently discovered is the inability to take the SPen out if you put it in the wrong way. So be careful when you put the SPen back in!
The fifth and the last, but obviously not the least is the lack of expandable storage feature. Although all the predecessors of the Galaxy Note series had an SD Card slot, the Note 5 does not possess the ability of expanding the storage. So you will be left with a device with a fixed storage.
Some other reasons for why the Note 5 sucks are the lack of an IR port so that you can’t use it as a remote for your TV and the unavailability of the device to be purchased in Europe. Samsung has also removed the multi-window toggle feature.
Although the Galaxy Note 5 is a pretty good phone, when comparing with the Galaxy Note 4, it’s visible that the Note 4 has better features.
