Samsung Galaxy Note 5 vs. Note 4 vs. Note 3 vs. Note 2 - Benchmark Speed Test! (4K)
668Samsung Galaxy Note series comprises of some of the best smartphones out there for large screen lovers. With the newest addition to this series, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, we decided to conduct a benchmark speed test test between the Note 5 with Note 4, Note 3 and the Note 2.
As you may know, the geekbench benchmark test is used to check a smartphone’s processor performance. While the Note 2 and the Note 5, the oldest and the newest of the 4 has Mali GPU, the other two, Note 3 and Note 4 has Adreno.
To make the test more accurate, all the devices had the original and latest compatible Android firmware installed prior to the test.
The scores obtained from the benchmark test is quite similar in the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Note 4, with the latter having the higher score. But the difference between the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Note 3 was observed to be much larger with the Note 3 of course having the higher out of the two. Between the two latest, the difference was not as high as expected. Although the core scores of Galaxy Note 5 is unable to double the scores of Galaxy Note 4, the scores are about 50% higher.
