iPhone 4S Official iOS 9 - Review (4K)
1,042iOS 9 was officially released to the public by Apple. And the excitement of Apple fans is rocketing sky high at the moment. Although you see many videos of iOS 9 performance on the latest iPhones, it’s very rarely that you see iOS 9 on and iPhone 4S. Let’s a take a look!
The app search screen on swipe down appears to be much faster in iOS 9 than in iPhone 4S with iOS 9.1 Beta. We had set the transparency off in the control center because turning it on may further slowdown the device. If you are looking for the new smileys on this OS, remember that the smileys are released with the official iOS 9.1 and not with the iOS 9.
The major let down here is the lag during the opening up of the settings menu. But we exactly can’t complain as iPhone 4S is a device that’s 4 years older than this new OS, iOS 9. Tap reactions of menu items and opening up of apps were also observed to be quite slow. But surprisingly, the multitasking screen performed smoothly without any lag. The next feature we checked out is the camera, which also took a few seconds to open up but performed well upon opening.
iPhone 4S is the slowest Apple iPhone that received the iOS 9 update. Therefore we didn’t expect the best of performance from the device. But the overall performance was not as bad as expected.
