The samsung galaxy s5 has a slightly faster processor on it than the htc one m8, however we felt we needed to do a speed test to see which one would out do the other. We started out with loading up some youtube videos and overall it was pretty close. After that we tested out loading some apps, and the htc one m8 won 2 out of the 3 which was surprising. Next we tested download app speeds and the galaxy s5 really excelled in this category. Lastly we did a restart on both devices and the samsung galaxy s5 booted up slightly faster than the htc one m8. Over in this speed test with the galaxy s5 and htc one m8 the galaxy s5 was our winner.
