Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus External Microphone Problem - Not Recording Audio Voice Dialogue

This video is about an audio problem with the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus were the phone and its video recording apps lose connection to the attached microphone after the first take. Sometimes the Galaxy S9+ will not connect to the mic at all.
When this problem happens the Galaxy S9 Plus will record via its internal microphones instead of the connected external microphone, even though the video recording apps indicate that the Galaxy S9+ is using the external microphone via its 3.5mm TRRS headphone socket.
The only way to resolve this problem is to exit the video recording app, disconnect the external mic, re-connect the external microphone and then re-launch the video recording app. Regardless of the fact that this is an unworkable scenario for filming and vlogging, it still may be the case that the Galaxy S9+ doesn't record with the external mic even for the first take.
There is another issue with the Galaxy S9 Plus were the video filming apps do not record at the exact frame that they are set to. For instance, you may have set the frame rate to 25 FPS but the recorded video file is actually 25.03 FPS.
The problem with this is that any video editing system NLE that is set to 25 FPS for its project frame rate, will have to interpolate the Galaxy S9 Plus' video recording to make the 25.03 FPS fit into 25 FPS. The effect of this is frame or video interpolation, which will show itself as frame blending or a ghosting effect when objects move in the frame of if there is any pan movements.
I've spoken to Three UK who I got the phone from and they are trying to help and will phone me back. They also put me directly in touch with Samsung who then passed me onto a S9 specialist, unfortunately, while I was put on hold by the Samsung specialist the call was disconnected at their end, obviously an accident.
I would really appreciate it if anyone else who uses the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus or the S9 would make a comment to let me know if this issue effects them. It may be the case that I simply have an issue with my phone and that these are isolated problems with the audio and video that only effect my phone.
I will see if Three Mobile UK will replace my Galaxy S9+ if it is indeed an isolated problem.
Whatever the outcome, I will follow up this video to confirm whether or not the problems were just on my particular Galaxy S9+ or if it effects the whole range.
