Samsung has just unveiled two new foldable smartphones: the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7. The smartphones impress with their new design, screens, and AI features. โจ
Both Galaxy models are a significant step forward compared to their previous models. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is the biggest gainer. It's only 4.2 mm thick when unfolded, and only 8.9 mm when folded. That's as thin as a standard smartphone. The previous generation was 12.1 mm. The screens have grown and their proportions have changed slightly. The external screen is 6.5" and the internal screen is 8", with brightness up to 2600 nits and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The main camera is now 200 MP, which we know from the Galaxy Ultra series. The rest remains unchanged: a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, a 10 MP telephoto lens, and a 10 MP selfie camera. The processor is the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, which can easily handle all the AI โโfeatures. Battery: 4400 mAh with fast wired and wireless charging. This is familiar from the previous version, but the new Android system and One UI 8 should provide improved battery life. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is also a significant step forward. It has a new 4.1" FlexWindow external display, which gives us more functionality without opening the smartphone. The camera setup includes: 50 MP + 12 MP and a 10 MP selfie. However, selfies can be easily taken with the main camera. The battery has been increased to 300 mAh and now has a capacity of 4300 mAh.
