Continuing my study of Gear VR Total Shut Down Syndrome ...the second test in a row .. and look at Gear VR uses. Are the effects of GVRTSDS accumulative ? Will trying different Apps and uses yield different results? Note shut down occurs irrespective of using Chromecast. First I had to cool the Note 4/Gear VR.. having disassembled Gear VR .. waited 15 minues then reassembled Gear VR to continue this test. Again I have a PS4 Dual Shock 4 and this time I get more mileage out of the Gear VR.. now after the first shut down which occurred around the 12 minute mark I delve deeper into three main (promotional) uses for Gear VR until it reaches a Total Shut Down state..2 of this one session. Note the shut down cascade.. Gear VR overclocks the Note 4 to maintain 60 FPS..which leads to an overheating warning (like Glass) then you tap to ignore it ( thanks for the tip JC) and CONTINUE.. until it happens again and we attain Total Gear VR Shutdown.. This is a continuous 60FPS capture of one single unedited usage of Gear VR.. till the point of total what some young folks may refer to as EPIC failure.. with their £800 HMDs..
