What is Samsung One UI?
A new user interface is coming for Samsung flagships and older models. We look at what One UI has to offer and how you can get it on your device. One UI is the name of Samsung's new Android interface and serves as the successor to The Samsung Experience that previously replaced TouchWiz. One of the biggest goals with One UI is to help users "focus on the task at hand.

How is it different to the current Samsung interface?
One UI vs TouchWiz
One UI has modern features, layouts, and modes which could all make it a welcome upgrades for Samsung users.
Settings have been grouped together into elegantly separated sections that make it easier to differentiate between things, there’s a new Night Mode that can be set to come on at specific times and works across the whole UI, and the overall approach has been to move control options to the bottom of the screen where they are nearer to your fingers.
You will also be able to swap the classic Android software buttons for swipe gestures if you prefer that method, much like on Android 9 Pie.

Which Samsung phones will be getting One UI?

The Galaxy S10 and Samsung’s foldable smartphone the Galaxy X, Galaxy F will be getting One UI as standard. These models will also get the new interface:
•Galaxy S9.
•Galaxy S9+.
•Galaxy Note 9.
•Galaxy S8.
•Galaxy S8+.
•Galaxy Note 8.

When is the One UI release date?

Samsung began updating the Galaxy S9 and S9+ to stable Android Pie on Christmas eve last year and Note 9 in early January 2019. As of today, those using the Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8 and S8+ can now join the One UI beta program in the UK, India, and the U.S., the latter market the latest to join the party.
