Episode Notes:

1. I used emulation for this review. Kega Fusion played it well and my usually reliable Mega SG/SD combo kept locking the game up.

2. Some regions of the world didn't get this version until the second half of 1995.

3. Contrary to popular belief the Genesis and Sega versions were not the same game. Both were developed and published by different companies.

4. The SNES version of this is my least favorite. The tiny characters look terrible and that Earthquake sprite is laughable in its smallness.

5. The Sega Game Gear also got a port of this.

6. Samurai Shodown is known as Samurai Spirits in Japan.

7. It really is a shame that the developers attempted no scaling at all here. Like I said in the video, even a zoom in at the start of the match would have been something. Even the PC Engine versions of Neo Geo games attempted something special in this regard without any special hardware.
