Here's the last castle lord to be unlocked: Lady Momosame. To unlock her model, you need to get 46 tanukis in Murasame Castle Mode on Nightmare difficulty, which means with 3 tanukis each stage, you have to get through 16 stages at least. With the main story being 15 stages long plus 3 side stages for Takamaru, you pretty much have to BEAT THE WHOLE MODE AGAIN just to get her. Seriously?

The levels I went through are all 15 main stages and the second Takamaru mission. I tried the first one but Kenshin, in the name of righteousness, bullied Terumoto Mori to death there when I almost finished that stage. With the lack of interim saving in the mode, it frustrates me so much that I never want to touch Nightmare ever again. However I MIGHT put up a video of the last stage on Nightmare someday to show off all the new castle lord designs someday... Someday when I feel like I'm up to some torture.

Lady Momosame and Lord Aosame actually have quite a few things in common: Both of them are based on the first CAW model, have similar skin tone and facial designs, and have the first CAW voice option from both genders. Wonder if these two were created first before Akasame and Ryokusame.

As for Momosame, she uses No's moveset which I'm never a fan of because it lacks range and is hard to combo with. At least since SW3 allows characters to have flinch resistance while executing C1, her C1 is a lot more usable as its extra super poopy long startup animation no longer gets disrupted, though the follow-up attack still rarely hits.

Since No and Mitsunari's bombs no longer have to be manually activated, her 2nd special is changed to an aura that can stun "men" and recover musou. Although the Japanese text states that it works on "opposite sex", I'm not sure if the attack works on females instead when I have a male CAW using the moveset. Overall, I never liked her moveset much throughout the series (not counting SW5). I actually like SW1-2 Oichi's moveset a lot more, which many seem to dislike.

This marks the end of my castle lords showcase videos. I will go ahead and say that they aren't worth the effort to unlock. You can use any weapons on them since they're CAWs but they will end up being clones anyway, and the fact that you can only play them on the very limited Free and Historical Modes hurt the replayability even more after you've already seen them once. So if you want to see them in action, here they are. However if you're going to try playing Murasame Castle Mode twice just to get them anyway, I won't stop you. Be warned that it will likely end up being an unpleasant experience.

If you want to check out more about Murasame Castle Mode, check out Xalin007's SW3 playlist. He pushed through it in spite of his hatred toward the game, which is commendable. Nice job, and thank you, Xaldin.

I used a tanuki location guide (https://www.52384.com/Wii/gongluemiji/20100107-57597_2.html) to find where they are because there's no way I will ever find them in the middle of the mode's intenseness. It's in Chinese but has pictures showing their locations, although the first page for Aosame's stages on Normal seems to be missing somehow. HAVE FUN
