From developer Omega Force. The iconic hack and slash loosely based on figures from the Warring States era. Constant objectives keep you moving steadily through each battle, and it's a ton of fun mowing down huge groups of enemies at the same time. Enemies in general are pretty easy to dispatch, the real challenge is keeping your allies alive as they have little chance of surviving any skirmish without your intervention. Moving around battlefields is unfortunately slow, even on horseback, and the game becomes a drag any time you find yourself on the other side of the field from your next populated objective. The gameplay is fun enough to keep you engaged, and levels average for 30-50 minutes. There are no mid-level checkpoints so it's easy to get frustrated and quit after a handful of Game Overs from time running out or an ally dying suddenly on the other side of the map late-match. Campaigns vary in difficulty too, I had a hard time with Sanada and Hanzo's campaigns and only beat Oichi's.
