San Diego 3 Railers MTH Tri Rail train action; October 1st, 2023
9Went down to the San Diego 3-Railers on September 30th and October 1st, and had a good day operating my Tri Rail train. As well as my recently bought MTH SD60E, lashed up with my MTH BNSF ES44AC, pulling a 30 car manifest. Everything ran good, other than me having to troubleshoot issues with the lashup for an hour on the 30th. I ended up having to come back the next day to finish filming the Tri Rail train, due to me losing an hour with that troubleshooting. The next day worked out too, as our operations manager was running solo and I offered to help him out. Apologies for the high pitched engine sound from the F40PH. This is how the prime mover sounds at above 35 sMPH, so can’t do much about it.
Tri-Rail train: MTH Premier Tri-Rail F40PH #809 and MTH Premier Tri-Rail Bombardier 4-car passenger set; Coach #1009, Coach #1008, Coach #1004, and Cab car #509.
