Think I may have finally learned what was causing my video quality to be so terrible. Sad part is I want to experiment I little bit more, because it took 48~ hours to process the video in hd. Turned out the editing program I used had a feature that could only be changed manually, by default it was set to no quality, so for this video I changed it and a couple other things to high quality.

Youtube does have its own compression system which is why having things set to high was probably a bad idea. I have taken more than a couple looks at this video and I'm not 100% sure that what I changed has improved things or not. I think I might be a bit too optimistic.

I think I should try medium quality next time to see if the processing will be faster. 48 hours for a 4 hour video, so depending on the video length I should change my expectations. I am going to assume 12 hours of processing per hour of video, so hopefully that length of time is shortened when the setting is at medium.

For this recording I started off by doing things I have already done before on a previous playthrough and I finished off by exploring an area I've not explored before.

I feel like I made one mistake but I already got the achievement for it. There's an interaction with Aura and some boat candles??? I was supposed to talk to some random dude and then things would proceed. Unfortunately I talked to him after she ditched me. Basic reason for why this happened is talking to npcs is only interesting for a first time experience, so me being on my third run through I have very little interest in spending my time listening.

I think this game is probably at it's most fun when we have already experienced all of its content. Once you know the games mechanics, how the quests will play out, and map locations. Only then does the game begin to feel more open and carefree.

Whilst playing tales of arise I realized how much I've wanted to play Berseria again. There are a couple things I could record and heavily edit to make it digestible. Probably just make some highlight videos of weird things I do whilst playing that game. speed cooking, afk farm (haven't seen anyone else do that for this game), earlygame chestfarm for gear that is earned later (very slow process/rng), I also enjoyed various grinds at weird stages of the game just because I could.
