Santorini island (Greece) - The cave of Mesa Pigadia Beach
Santorini is an island that is located in Greece and specifically in the island complex of Cyclades and is really one of the most beautiful and famous destinations in the whole world. There is a variety of great, popular beaches in Santorini but there are also some ''hidden treasures'' that not much people know about like Mesa Pigadia Beach that is located in the area of Akrotiri. Access to Mesa Pigadia Beach is feasible only with a car or a motor bike through a dirt path. One reason that you surely have to visit this quiet beach is the existence of a sea cave in a huge rock at the end of the beach. After about a two-minute swimming through the dark but shallow cave you reach to the other side of the rock from where you are able to see a totally different and wild landscape. From there you can also see the White Beach and if you consider yourself a good swimmer you will be able to visit her.
