I will aslo do a lesson how to overclock this card beyond 850Mhz that limited by ATI driver. This card was stable at 890Mhz for me on GPU - which performed same as 5770 and saved me a 30-40 bucks in my pocket. Make sure to watch Overclocking Radeon 5750 beyond the basics - tutorial by me.

What is better GTS 250 or Radeon 5750 1 gb gddr5 128-bit? Well, Radeon 5750 will be the winner. It also a winner to comparing against GTX 260, because Radeon features dx11 and tessalation and can be set at crossfirex mode. I think 129.99 bucks is well worth it, good choice and I dont think this card will go lower then 100 bucks in its history. So, when I will lose 30 bucks I would be sad, but when 5870 will go down to 250, 270 bucks in the future I bet those people will be pissed a little bit, especially if they are not dirty rich. So Radeon is good choice, it will save you a money for future upgrade, or if you will that its too cheap for you = buy two and crossifre them - you will not be dissapointed and anything will run at 1900x1200 maxed out till 2011.
Peace.
