One of Codemasters many supposed "simulator" games, I somehow doubt their claims that this in any way represents what life as an SAS commando is really like. This half-baked amalgamation of Ikari Warriors and Green Beret is a game of two halves, both of which suck.

I owned the C64 version of the game back in the day, and I guess if the Amstrad CPC version has anything going for it, it's the fact it does appear to contain a couple of extra levels, and there's also the inclusion of a driveable jeep during the overhead sections, something the C64 lacks.

Unfortunately, between the chugging framerate and ridiculous difficulty, there's precious little to recommend about SAS Combat Simulator.
