This is a FanFiction by Hannah Neves about the Epic of Gilgamesh, which is the oldest written epic in history. It tells the story the adventures of Gilgamesh, the king of Uruk, and his companion, Enkidu. The epic has been widely studied throughout the years, which has raised questions regarding the nature of the relationship between Gilgamesh and Enkidu. Many parts of the epic hint at a romantic relationship between the two, though some scholars still struggle with the idea. This story retells The Epic of Gilgamesh in prose rather than poetry, giving Gilgamesh and Enkidu’s romance the attention it deserves. 🏳️‍🌈Happy Pride Month!
