The Save Ancient Studies Alliance is proud to announce that our annual, virtual ‘Opening the Ancient World’ conference is returning for its second year running. This year, our theme is ‘Who Has the Power? Leaders and Leadership in the Ancient World.’

Join us to hear from a number of academics who have taken unorthodox routes in their research, and for three special sessions in which we shall discuss various ways to promote ancient study.

The conference will be livestreamed via the SASA Youtube and Facebook channels, and via the pages of our partners!
