While it it is true that non-dual self-inquiry is the highest practice, and the highest spiritual activity that does not dismiss the countless forms of worship and practice that have blessed and healed humankind over the millennia.

It is in that spirit that i talk today about one of the most common and ubiquitous of all spiritual practice, even more widespread than meditation and that is PRAYER.

There is so much more to it than just begging a super being for mercy or special favors. It can and should be a deep communion with the absolute truth of being.

Even if it starts a mere supplication it can mature and grow into the deepest devotion that eventually dissolves completely into the unity of being which mortals have named God.
