It is the first Saturday of the month, meaning at 9:15pm (Eastern Daylight Time), it will be time once again for SATURDAY NIGHT VECTREX IN THE DARK! Only I, Mark W, host tonight.
Tonight's agenda:
1. SYNTHESIZED VOICE GAMES: TAKE TWO! Back in February, the theme for the evening was games that take advantage of synthesized voice modules, and we only got two or three games in when my Vectrex died! Now that it's working again, so I will give this theme another try and hope nothing blows up! ("OH NO, MOLLY!")
2. Yet another MERRY VECMAS UNBOXING: When the vector-based Christmas Caroler sings on your screen, I will unbox a package from my queue of many things I've ordered over the last year or two. This time the package contents will fit right in with the theme.
Note that I don't have a HUGE number of voice games, so at some point during the steam I"ll just play random games, voice or not. Requests are welcome!
Steam typically lasts about 3 hours or until I'm ready to pass out. I could play Vectrex until, like, 3:00am but I should get to bed at a reasonable hour. :D
