Saturn has a hexagonal-shaped cloud pattern at its north pole. Discovered by the Voyager missions in the 1980s and further observed by the Cassini spacecraft, this unique feature is a persistent, hurricane-like storm with six distinct sides. Each side of the hexagon is about 13,800 kilometers (8,600 miles) long, which is longer than the diameter of the Earth.
