Hello again, everyone! Chris Chavez here bringing you a video of one of my favorite apps on the Android Market. Its definitely one of the first apps I download whenever I get a new phone or if I'm setting up an Android phone for a friend.

The app is called WiFi Status. They way it works is easy with no setup involved. Simply install the app and you will get a notification everytime you leave a WiFi connection or hotspot. Clicking on said notification will turn off your WiFi so your phone isn't actively searching for new connections which can drain precious battery life.

I honestly can't say enough about this app and its definitely been a godsend when you factor in my absent mindedness and affinity for leaving things running. Download this free app from the Market and try it for yourself.
