Ok, it already isn't good that Drek is just tearing chunks out of planets to build his "ultimate" planet. But just blowing one up cause it's in the way seems needlessly convoluted. Not to mention I doubt a planetary body can handle having a sizable chunk just ripped from its mass and remain habitable. Also perfect location for it's atmosphere? The planet is a ball of ice with sub-zero temperatures and a liquid that freezes instantly. That's not a tropical orientation, that's to far away from a star to get adequate heat. Drek might want to pay attention to those scientists he's hired for the rest of this plan. Or does he just have a vendetta against this particular ball of ice?
